The Gordinier Group Ram Truck Team saddled up at the MGM Grand Casino for the last weekend of the NFR.

Guests of the event were treated to a simulated off-road track built specifically for the full line of Ram trucks present at NFR. For the second year in a row, we were able to take over the MGM valet area, with GG pro drivers behind the wheel of a dozen of the hottest 2013/2014 Ram trucks.

More than 6,000 Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and their families spent the weekend inside the park, camping and participating in the many outdoor activities hosted at the event.

Jeep offered event guests the opportunity to experience the 2013 vehicle lineup while riding through the picturesque park on an exciting off-road trail. Eight vehicles were used, consisting of a mix of Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Compass and Patriot vehicles. Rides were given by Gordinier Group trained off-road drivers, who provided detailed product information during the ride.

Guests were super excited to be able to experience/drive the newest Jeep, several months before they hit the showroom floor. Likewise, GG drivers were dying to get behind the wheel and be able to put the Cherokee through its paces.First impression highlights were the smooth shifting 9-speed transmission, electronic locking rear axle, and 8.6” of ground clearance. Many guests commented that they really like the aesthetics, ergonomics and interior styling as well. Overall, the response to the Cherokee was very positive. With the exception of a few original Cherokee owners (who mostly just wanted a different name for the new vehicle), people were really digging the new Cherokee.
